Leyden Jar of Electrostatic Generator after Wilhelm Holtz manufatured by E.S. Ritchie & Sons, Boston Massachusetts, USA, or any part of it.

I bought lot 286, an Electrostatic Generator which incorporates two, one on each side, Leyden Jars. I am sure the glass of one of them broke but my hope is that the internal contact brush head, rod, and the wooden top is still somewhere. The brass piece measures 13.25 inches in length.

Main-shaft for Pirard et Coeurdevache, Paris, Kymograph

Here another missing part, lot 42 second auction, A Kymograph.
What is missing is the main-shaft holding the cylinder-register or drum, holding the register-paper.
The shaft is approximatelly 12.25 to 12.5 inches long and has a diameter of 0.375 inch (3/8 of an inch) or 9.5mm, has a gear on one end. Both ends are needle bearings, the end with the gear a female needle bearing, on the other end a male needle bearing. The gear has a diameter of approximately 1.3 inches or 33mm.
The first picture shows the Kymograph; the second picture shows the two gears which will engage with the main-shaft gear of the missing main-shaft, the two gears can be mechanically engaged with the levers and will turn the cylinder at different speeds, the pointed pin is stationary and does not turn; the third picture shows the cylinder which would be mounted and turned by the main-shaft; the fourth picture shows the other end where the main-shat engages with the female needle bearing. I suspect that the missing main-shaft is still mounted on a longer cylinder than the two shown in the pictures.
If you do have this missing main-shaft, please email peterfrei@cox.net, of call (413) 245 4660, thanks!
